The Horizontes Network’s 2024 Plenary was held as a key event for the dissemination of knowledge and technological foresight in the field of public innovation and defense. The event was inaugurated by Francisco Quereda Rubio, CEO of Isdefe, who highlighted the organization’s commitment to innovation and foresight as essential tools for anticipating risks and taking advantage of opportunities in the General State Administration (AGE).
The core of the day was devoted to the presentation of foresight reports prepared by the seven chairs that make up the Horizons Network. These reports addressed future trends and scenarios in areas such as defense and security, cybersecurity, transportation, space, information technologies and energy.
The closing remarks were delivered by Lieutenant General Miguel Ivorra Ruiz, who emphasized the strategic value of foresight in redefining international cooperation and anticipating future challenges.
