Internal R&D project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Isdefe’s internal R&D project Application of Systems Engineering in the Design of a Future Army Command and Direction System<\/strong><\/em> (SIMADE) aims to study and experiment with the application of systems engineering methods and tools in the design of a future Army Command and Direction System (SIMADE).<\/p>\n\n

SIMADE is the Army’s management system through which the Army’s entire operation is planned, directed and controlled, excluding the operational use of its units, and which defines the competencies, relations and operating procedures of all its departments.<\/p>\n\n

As a result of this R&D activity, Isdefe has its own methodology for applying systems engineering to the design of organizational systems, and could present the Army with a practical application for the design of a future version of SIMADE.<\/p>\n\n

With this initiative, Isdefe is making a valuable contribution to the Army, which is one of our main clients, and is providing us with knowledge of the Army at the highest level, which could be very useful for possible future collaborations with the client. Therefore, there is a high probability of return on investment in this R&D&I initiative. <\/p>\n\n

The project was developed by a team coordinated by Tirso Camacho Mira of the Directorate of Technological Modernization and Digital Transformation and led by Juan Manuel Garc\u00eda Monta\u00f1o, deputy to Isdefe’s CEO.<\/p>\n\n
