{"id":3884,"date":"2021-10-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-10-01T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/isdefeinnova.es\/proyectos\/promenade-improved-maritime-awareness-by-means-of-ai-and-bd-methods\/"},"modified":"2024-11-29T10:18:56","modified_gmt":"2024-11-29T10:18:56","slug":"promenade-improved-maritime-awareness-by-means-of-ai-and-bd-methods","status":"publish","type":"proyectos","link":"https:\/\/isdefeinnova.es\/en\/projects\/promenade-improved-maritime-awareness-by-means-of-ai-and-bd-methods\/","title":{"rendered":"PROMENADE &#8211; Improved maritime awareness by means of AI and BD methods"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The European R&amp;D project <strong><em>Improved maritime awareness by means of AI and BD methods<\/em><\/strong> (PROMENADE) is co-funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program, under grant agreement number 101021673.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The European Union concentrated a large part of its research and innovation activities in the previous Framework Program called <a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/research\/horizon2020\/index_en.cfm\">Horizon 2020<\/a> (H2020). In the 2014-2020 period and through the implementation of three pillars, it has contributed to address major <a href=\"https:\/\/www.h2020.md\/en\/content\/societal-challenges\">societal challenges<\/a>, promote <a href=\"https:\/\/www.h2020.md\/en\/content\/industrial-leadership\">industrial leadership<\/a> in Europe and strengthen the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.h2020.md\/en\/content\/excellent-science\">excellence <\/a>of its science base. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Horizon 2020 Program has integrated for the first time all phases from knowledge generation to activities closer to the market: basic research, technology development, demonstration projects, pilot manufacturing lines, social innovation, technology transfer, proof of concept, standardization, support for pre-commercial public procurement, venture capital and guarantee system.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The PROMENADE R&amp;D project applies Artificial Intelligence and Big Data technologies to enhance the development of a set of state-of-the-art tools that enable a better understanding of the maritime domain by providing advanced solutions for early detection and accurate tracking of vessels, behavioral analysis and automatic anomaly detection.
