This meeting was coordinated by the Sub-Directorate General for Planning, Technology and Innovation (SDG PLATIN) and the Sub-Directorate General for Military Education, together with the Defense University Centers and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isdefe.es\/\">Isdefe<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/isdefeinnova.es\/en\/\">Isdefe\u00b4s <\/a>Director of Innovation, Processes and Digital Transformation, <strong>Ildefonso Vera G\u00f3mez<\/strong>, was in charge of presenting the Isdefe DESEi+d 2024 awards:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>&#8211; 8th Edition of the Antonio Torres Award<\/strong> to Juan Carlos Mart\u00edn Fern\u00e1ndez for the communication: \u201cCROWN Project &#8211; Final results of an AESA Multifunction System Demonstrator\u201d.<br\/>Final results of an AESA Multifunction System Demonstrator\u201d.<\/p>\n\n<p><br\/><strong>&#8211; 2nd Edition of the Defense Challenge Award in the field of Autonomous Systems<\/strong> to Marco Andr\u00e9s Luna, for the paper: \u201cProposal of a UAV swarm system for military training operations with aerial targets\u201d.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>&#8211; 3rd Edition of the University Student Award<\/strong> to Jes\u00fas Latre Campo, for the communication: \u201cChallenges and solutions in image acquisition for landing gear detection in military aircraft using Deep Learning models\u201d.<\/p>\n\n<p>Finally, Isdefe&#8217;s Director of Business Development, <strong>Jes\u00fas Alonso Mart\u00edn<\/strong>, participated in the closing table together with the Director General of Strategy and Innovation of the Defense Industry, Lieutenant General <strong>Miguel Ivorra Ru\u00edz,<\/strong> the Director General of Recruitment and Military Education, Lieutenant General <strong>Pedro Jos\u00e9 Garc\u00eda Cifo<\/strong> and other authorities.<\/p>\n\n<p>Isdefe thus maintains its presence in this type of events that encourage development and innovation in the service of defense and security, two pillars of the General State Administration (AGE).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The XI National Congress on Defense and Security R&amp;D (DESEi+d 2024) swas held at the Jaen Trade Fair and Congress Center on November 12, 13 and 14.
