Systems Engineering Agreement

The systems engineering collaboration agreement with the University of Arizona (UoA) allows Isdefe to gain first-hand knowledge of the progress made by Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC), a research center affiliated with the United States Department of Defense. The objective of this agreement is to position Isdefe as a national reference in systems engineering, as well as to train its personnel in these disciplines.

Coordinators agreed: Alejandro Salado (UoA) and Ángel Martín (Isdefe)

Lines of research:


    • Systems engineering campus, with various training programs in the discipline.
    • Organisation of conferences and workshops on systems engineering and programme management, with a particular focus on their application in defence.
    • Publications and notebooks on systems engineering in collaboration with prestigious international authors.

Systems Engineering Technical Notebooks

“Introduction to Systems Engineering in the 21st Century.”

Isdefe has published in 2024 a technical notebook on systems engineering with a twofold objective: on the one hand, to give a new impetus to the dissemination of the fundamentals of all aspects related to the world of engineering, and on the other hand, to provide an opportunity for Isdefe members and recognized experts in the field to transmit the knowledge acquired in studies and work carried out.
