Isdefe has published a report entitled ‘Isdefe, support in logistics transformation’ on the celebration of its 3rd Innovation Week. This event, an annual event to learn about the state of the art of projects framed within the defense of Spain, took place between June 11 and 21, 2024.
The document reviews the course of this 3rd Innovation Week. First, it addresses Isdefe’s role in this year’s chosen theme: logistics. In this regard, the company is responsible for providing engineering, consulting and technical support services to improve the efficiency and control of the Armed Forces’ logistics systems.
Isdefe then takes a closer look at the digital transformation of the three armies and discusses the main advances and most promising projects. To do so, it travels from the Ferrol Arsenal to the BLET via the BACSI. The FedLogIT proposal that Isdefe is developing for the EDA is also discussed.
From predictive maintenance to supercomputing
Predictive maintenance and its application to 21st century logistics are the next stops, delving into its application in the Dakar Rally. It also has an exceptional guest, the Zaragoza Logistics Center, which presented the first advances of its project for Isdefe.
Isdefe, support in the logistics transformation’ also delves into the presentation of the new Horizontes Network Logistics node, as well as the S-80 submarine project that is being developed by the Technical Support Office for the Life Cycle of the S-80 submarine (OTACV).
This document has also served to provide an update on the status of Isdefe’s main RD projects focused on logistics support. Among them, CA-BLET and CL-VCON stand out.
Supercomputing and asset management are the latest protagonists of the report along with the transition from physical to digital assets that ADIF is leading thanks to the support of Isdefe.
